Open Science – Closed Science

The central aim of this video is to give you a broad perspective over Open Science, which often gets pushed to the back in favour of the concrete activities that fall under its purview. What is Open Science? Can one ever do “completely” Open Science? Does Open Science imply that one can also do closed science? These questions will be addressed in this video. The video is designed as an introduction to Open Science for participants on the Copenhagen University Library PhD-course “Open Up Your Academic Publishing Toolbox” however the content is not tailored to the course and can be used in other contexts as introductory material.
